While going through our current inventory, I asked Roman and Lindsay to round up the best Audemars Piguet watches we have to offer. What they dug up were eight impressive Royal Oaks made with a variety of precious metals and high-end materials. Models include limited edition Offshores and tourbillon chronographs. Lindsay then included two luxurious high jewelry timepieces for the ladies. And with all these pieces currently in-stock, we’ve given them special prices while they last!
Lets start off with the newest and hottest Audemars we got in store, the Michael Schumacher Royal Oak Offshore limited edition. This big, brash racing chrono was designed with the F1 living legend. It uses the bigger 44mm ROO case with a specialized rubber strap. It features a black anthracite galvanic dial with their Mega Tapisserie pattern and a Cermet bezel (Cermet is a ultra-resilient metal powder-infused ceramic).Note the rectangle chrono pushers, which have been enlarged to use while wearing racing gloves. There are three versions, with this being the pink gold model. This watch and the titanium and platinum models are covered in detail in our Michael Schumacher post.
The Royal Oak Offshore Montoya is also a limited edition racing chrono, this one made for F1 star Juan Pablo Montoya. The 42mm case is made of platinum and features a carbon fiber bezel. This is paired with a sticking blue dial and matching leather strap, making it stand out in the world of royal oaks.
Here we have a stainless steel case and pink gold case for the Royal Oak Tourbillon Chrono. both satin-polished cases measure 44mm with blacked out dials and matching leather straps. One the dials, you’ll see a 1-minute tourbillon and chrono subdials.
This Team Alinghi limited edition was made to celebrate the famous sailing team defending their 32nd America’s Cup. What made this watch famous in the world of horology was being the first fully forged case. The dial on the 44mm case shows two chrono subdials, the Alinghi team logo and a unique date aperture display. It’s fitted with a black rubber strap.
We have another pair of F1 racing limited editions, with these dedicated to Rubens Barrichello. The platinum version features a more traditional ROO chrono dial design, blue and white color detailing and features a blue crocodile strap and a ceramic bezel, crown and push buttons. The titanium version goes with a flashier chrono dial design, inspired by a F1 car dashboard. It features a black rubber bezel and strap. Both cases measure 44mm.
Our last Offshore model is the End of Days limited edition. This timepiece is one of several limited editions that Audemars Piguet has made for Arnold Schwarzenegger, who one of their biggest and most famous fans. Dedicated to the film of the same name that was released in 1999. What sets this blacked-out Offshore apart was the fact it AP’s first PVD-treated watch. The ultra-resilient black coating covers the 44mm stainless steel case, with a black with chrono subdials, date display and neon hands and numbers. It’s fitted with a black kevlar strap with velcro clasp.
No onto a pair of ladies watches, with this Millenary Precieuse up first. This high jewelry piece features an 32mm case with an intricate design. It’s made of white gold with 2.35 carats of diamonds total and a luxurious black satin strap. The signature Millenary oval, off-center display dial is embedded with mother-of-pearl and diamonds. Blued hands are used for contrast.
Also a high jewelry piece, the Givrine watch is inspired by the beautiful snowy winters of the Swiss and French alps and named after the Col de la Givrine mountain pass in the Jura Mountains. The case measures 44mm by 35mm and is made of 18-karat white gold and a total of 3.89 carats of diamonds. Frozen within the shimmering case is a small dial that’s inlaid with lavender mother-of-pearl. It’s fitted with a matching lavender satin strap.

On the Hand above, we have a variety of Bulgari rings lined up. From top to bottom, we first see a 18-karat yellow gold Cicladi Ring. It’s interesting design uses a collection of 5 overlapping discs, with two bearing the Bulgari double-stamped name. The Name Cicladi comes and is inspired by the grouping of the Cyclades Islands in the Aegean Sea. We also have several other Cicladi pieces in our collection to choose from. The second is an 18-karat white gold Hypnotic Ring. The hypnotizing swirlz alternates between black and pave-set diamonds. The third is an Opal Ring. It’s classic design is made from 18-karat yellow gold and a large rectangular opal gemstone. On the pinky you’ll see a simple round slotted ring, made with 18-karat yellow gold. This ring is also available in 18-karat white gold.
Here have a triple set of gold bands, each with the Bulgari name imprinted with 0.08 carats of diamonds. Weighing 14 grams each, we have options in either 18-karat rose, white or yellow gold. Simple and perfect pieces for anyone married to the Bulgari jewelry and fashion house.
From Bulgari’s noted Cerchi Collection, we have two shield bracelets. Weighing 36 grams each, we have one in 18-karat white gold and 18-karat yellow gold. The Bulgari name is double-stamped on the inner circle of the shield.
Part of the Bulgari-Bulgari Collection, this diamond pave bracelet shows off a classic but unique design. Circles with their signature double-stamped name are linked together, with three filled with a honeycomb of diamond dots. It weighs 29 grams and is made of 18-karat white gold and 1.8 carats of diamonds. It’s also seen with a Gucci 103 Horsebit watch.

Tag Heuer celebrated the anniversary of their iconic Carrera watch with a special event in NYC. Know as the first chronograph designed for professional racing and for sports car fans, the Carrera hasn’t slowed down despite turning 50 this year. It also hasn’t seemed to slow down honorary chairman and designer of the Carrera, Jack Heuer, who at 80 years old was happy to share his inspiration and story.
The event was an homage to both Jack and the Carrera, showcasing the 50 year history of the watch. Besides a range of the Carrera watches from past to present, a to match, a range of vintage and new Porsche Carreras were also on display. Art inspired and dedicated to Jack and the Carrera were also on display.
Until the new 50th anniversary editions available, lets take a look at last year’s special edition Carreras that celebrated Jack Heuer’s 80th birthday. The original racing chrono was first launched in 1963 with a easy to read dial and highly resistant to shocks, making it perfect for the job. Today’s models use the latest in technology, but don’t lose the original design principles.
This version features a bold and clean silver dial with sun-ray motif and gunmetal grey tachymeter and snailed subdials. the Subdials display a small-seconds counter and a 30-minute counter. The polished stainless steel case measures 41mm with stop watch-inspired push buttons. Red is the only color, used for the Heuer name and detailing the hands like a dashboard dial. The metallic and symmetrical design of this watch gives the feel of a precise racing machine, perfect to match the likes of the Porsche Carrera and other top sports cars. Two versions of this limited edition are offered, either with a satin-brushed and polished -detailed metal bracelet or with a vintage racing-inspired perforated leather strap.

Oscar and Golden Globe Winner Nicole Kidman has been a longtime ambassador for Omega watches, with a relationship stretching back 8 years. As an actress that embodies elegance, she was an perfect choice as the face of their relaunched Ladymatic Collection, which first debuted in 2010. A few days ago, she was the guest of honor at an international Omega event to showcase their new Ladymatic collection for this year.
It took place in Vienna, with the historic Liechtenstien Palace as the venue. The gala welcomed more than 250 guests and international media, with proceeds benefiting Austrian charity Licht ins Dunkel. The Palace was fully decorated, with projection displays, a enchanted forest and performance dancing. A cocktail party was followed by live music as well as a presentation of the new Ladymatic models.
Nicole Kidman also followed up with a visit to the Omega boutique in Vienna. Here she met with the head of Austrian charity Lincht ins Dunkel, who she presented with a signed Ladymatic that will be auctioned on the charity’s behalf. This marks a third year of Omega’s successful Ladymatic collection with Kidman’s help. Kidman also thanked Omega for their support in her philanthropic ventures, such as her work with UN Women.
The new Ladymatic models now show off a range of attractive bi-color designs, using 18-karat gold and stainless steel. A more unique pink and pale blue version will also be offered.
