The Candela jewelry house is found between the mountains of Valencia and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. It was founded over 70 years ago by the three Candela brothers in Valencia, Spain under the name Candela Hermanos. Candela Hermanos quickly grew to one of the biggest makes of karat gold jewelry in the region. Their name has always been a staple of in the world of European jewelry and and embodies the style of Spanish jewelry.

Andrea, a daughter of one of the Candela brothers, joined the family business and launched the Andrea Candela collection of jewelry. In 1979 Candela Hermanos and Andrea expanded into the United States. In the states Andrea set up a design team to continue creating the Andrea Candela Collection for the global market. Today, they still incorporate their traditional craftmanship and iconic Spanish style, but with a modern approach.
