Bulgari has presented two new timepieces for the upcoming Baselworld in March, a new mens watch called the Papillon Voyageur and a piece of ladies high jewelry called the Serpenti.
Bvlgari Serpenti Bracelet
This stunning new piece of Bulgari jewelry is the latest manifestation of their Serpenti bracelet. For 2012, it will come in two contrasting versions, one with jet-black enamel or eggshell-white enamel for the scales. Both are created with 18-carat pink gold, with brilliant-cut diamonds decorating it all the way. The head of the Serpenti holds a quartz movement with 12 diamonds used as hour markers, with 6 larger brilliant-cut diamonds surrounding it. Either black sapphire or white mother-of-pearl is used for the matching dial.

Bvlgari Papillon Voyageur Watch
This new version of Bulgari’s Papillon Voyageur shows two timezones in a unique manner, thanks to its trademarked “Papillon” device. It shows the primary timezone through the aperture at the 12 o’clock position, with a graduated 24-hour scale. The second timezone is show by the hand in the center disc in 24-hour time. The minutes are then told by the two blue double-pointed hands. These two hands take turns by sweeping across the bottom two arches, which show the minutes in the upper arch and in increments of 10 minutes on the lower arch. The Papillon Voyageur comes in a slightly arched 18-carat pink gold case, needing a domed sapphire crystal to cover the front and back.
