Inspired Mercedes 320 Tourbillon Watch

Here is a new tourbillon watch, designed by Marko Petrovic, known for his concept car and motorcycle designs, dedicated to an automobile from the golden age of Mercedes-Benz. The name Mercedes 320 comes from the iconic Mercedes-Benz 320 cabriolet and coupe, which first debuted in 1937.

This watch takes us back to a time with style and elegance were priorities in car design, with long lines and luxury interiors. Two suicide doors easily let passengers into the back seats. The top could be removed on some cabriolet models, with no b-pillars giving a open air feel even with the roof. A soft-top convertible model was also offered . The 320 also featured a new independent front and rear suspension and hydraulic brakes for superior handling and ride comfort. With multiple variations on trim and engine size, the 320 was instantly popular.

On the left side you see the days of the week, the right side the minutes, similar to a fuel and temperature gauge. On the bottom you’ll see the hours as the speedometer, with the full date in an odometer-like display. The tourbillon is presented at the top of the watch, displaying the Mercedes’  instantly recognizable three-point star in a circle.
