Cartier has three impressive timepieces lined up for the upcoming Salon International De La Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva, taking place January 16-20. Along with BaselWorld, the SIHH is one of the two biggest haute horology events held annually in the world. And each year, Cartier always aims to impress. Cartier Cadran Love Tourbillion Watch
This bold looking watch uses a 3D design for quite a dramatic effect. This watch continues Cartier’s Roman numerals theme, seemingly cut out of the 46mm, 18k grey gold case. The arched curve of the hours surrounds the open-face movement and their award-winning “flying” tourbillion, which appears to float separate from its bridges. Note the Cartier “C” has be cleverly worked into the tourbillion’s design. It’s then topped off with a cabochon-set blue gem crown. Click here for the luxury Bazaar listing.
Cartier Masse Secrete Panther Decor Watch
This alluring ladies watch by Cartier features a 3D jeweled panther and bezel contrasting against a black mother-of-pearl dial. This novelty piece uses an inverted oscillating weight to walk the panther around the dial, using the interior diamond set ring. The panther itself is made of white gold set with round diamonds and black gem spots. The case and bezel are fully paved with diamonds, bringing the total count to 633 diamonds. Cartier Skeleton Grand Complication Pocket Watch
This ominous timepiece is the Skeleton Grand Complication Pocket Watch. Inspired by Cartier’s classic pocket watches of the 1930s, combined with their modern skeletal styling, a truly unique timepiece is had been crafted. The white gold case presents flawlessly hand-bevelled Roman numerals around the grand complication movement. It features a perpetual calendar, monopusher chronograph and tourbillion.
This magnificent piece has a matching white gold chain to take it with you and a rock crystal and obsidian stand to have it on display.
