Ulysse Nardin has been pretty quiet about their watches for 2012, but they’ve revealed two handsome new pieces: The Blue Toro and the Yuvraj Executive Dual Time. The Blue Toro is their El Toro watch dressed in their signature royal blue and the other is their formal Executive Dual Time dedicated to Indian cricket star Yuvraj Singh.
Blue Toro Perpetual Calendar
Ulysse Nardin’s El Toro watch is the combination of a classic design with a high-tech movement to create the interesting dial we see here. Seen here as the limited Blue Toro, this watch has a fresh and distinct look with its royal blue the primary color. While looking from afar, the dial can look confusing, but up close the matte surfaces provide a clear contrast to the perpetual calendar and dual time functions. The Blue Toro is limted to 99 pieces and comes in the 43mm El Toro case, but in red gold with a royal blue ceramic bezel and ceramic pushers.
The 2 o’clock position shows the big date., the 10 o’clock shows the chronometer and the 6 o’clock shows the two-digit year. The left of of the center shows the day and to the right shows the month. The long gold arrow hand tells the 24-hour GMT time. The two blue pushers lets you go forward and backwards an hour on the GMT hand. What separates this feature is you can do it on-the-fly while using it, which is only offered by Ulysse Nardin.

Yuvraj Executive Dual Time
This new entry to Ulysse Nardin’s popular modern dress watch, the Executive Dual Time, is limited to just 62 pieces. Dedicated to Yurai Singh, a young legend in the sport of cricket, partial proceeds go to support his Yuvraj Singh Foundation, which organizes education, sports and health care programs for underprivileged children. This continues to use the the 43mm case, but covers the bezel in what looks like rose gold, connected by white gold to the leather strap. A matte brown dial shows the dual-time feature, with push buttons to adjust the hours to the second timezone.
